Education: BScEng (New Brunswick), MASc, PhD (Toronto)
Research Interests: I am interested in
the broad area of systems and control, with an emphasis on:
-
Time-Varying Control Approaches to Robust Control
-
Adaptive Control
-
Mechatronics
Recent results include work
on a new approach to robust control and to adaptive control using
linear periodic control.
I am also working with Prof. Bedi of Mechanical Engineering on
the applied topic of computer-controlled lathes.
Professional Interests: During the period January 2001
- December 2003 I was
an Associate Editor of the
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control.
